Peony (Paeonia Itoh) Bartzella
An intersectional hybrid between a tree peony and a herbaceous peony forming a plant about 80cm high with a woody base. It has deeply divided, mid-green leaves with pointed segments, and large, scented, semi-double to double, lemon-yellow flowers in early to mid-summer. An adult plant can produce up to 50 flowers. “Bartzella” won the gold medal for the best variety in 1986.
